The Pictures

I did not, in fact, take this picture of myself.

The amount of time I was spending looking for royalty-free pictures and all that whatnot was making me blue. All the while, my pretty DSLR was sitting lonely on the corner of my desk, and my basement and computer were holding treasure troves of pictures. What foolishness to spend so much time working when I could be playing! I have what I’ll call an entry-level interest in photography, meaning I love it but don’t know a whole lot. I just like taking pictures. So I decided I would offer myself another challenge: using only my own pictures for the blog, unless it was for a certain purpose to do otherwise. (I will add, the circus posters were what I found when doing those initial searches.) Some I may have taken, or were taken of me, or were found in the annals of time in our storage room downstairs. (We call this “the Pit of Despair.”) Way more fun than Flickr.
